Resource Sharing
Members of the Boyle Public Library have access to many resource-sharing opportunities to provide you the greatest possible selection of items.
We belong to The Regional Alberta Consortium (TRAC), where you can browse the catalogue and order items from other TRAC libraries for delivery to Boyle. You can also visit any TRAC library and use your card there with no limitations.
If your item is not available in TRAC, you can also try searching Relais, which connects you with all the public and academic libraries in Alberta to search and order items.
If you are visiting from a non-TRAC library or would like to use your TRAC library card somewhere else, you can sign up with ME Libraries to borrow onsite items from any public library in Alberta.
Any item you borrow, can be returned at any library in Alberta. However, keep in mind that returning an item at a library other than its home library may result in the item remaining on your account for longer as it travels back to its original destination. Fines, fees, and loan periods are all variable and based on the owning library's policies.
